NGC Comment: A rare, unheated, 70% gem red "Classic" Burma ruby back for liquidation. Due to the embargo, new Burma rubies are impossible to find in today's market. The stone is 80 tone. The clarity is MI1. The stone has good cutting and very good to good finish. The depth is perfect and the gem has a high 70-80% brilliancy. A serious gemstone for a portfolio or to mount in an upscale jewelry piece.
