NGC Comment: A final "Classic" Burma ruby imported to the US before the ruby ban. One of the best one carat unheated Burma rubies on the market today. A top gem 70% red with perfect tone. It is practically impossible to get a vivid red color with a 75 tone. What every red diamond wished it looked like! The clarity is really clean for an unheated Burma ruby at LI-MI1. The stone has very good to good cutting and good finish. The gem has an ultra high 90% brilliancy. A serious gemstone for a portfolio or to mount in an upscale jewelry piece.
