NGC Comment: The ultimate unheated, pigeon blood, gem red "Classic" Mogok Burma ruby. Burma rubies do not come any redder. The color scan shows the stone is 85% red/orange. This gem possesses a "sleepy" look many connoisseurs seek. Since the stone is ultra-saturated, it is very difficult to see the MI2 inclusions. A serious gemstone for a portfolio or to mount in an upscale jewelry piece.
