7.69 Cushion Unheated Burma Sapphire

Please note when viewing high quality gemstones on the net there are certain limitations:

  1. Most monitors display images at varying dots per inch (dpi) and are not color-corrected.
  2. GIF and JPEG formats compromise quality.
  3. Internet Explorer can only "see" 216 of 256 colors.
Since every system, browser, and monitor is different, we don't know if what you and we see are the same.

NGC Comment: An old Burmese sapphire back for liquidation. The gemstone primary color is 70% blue. The color grade is 3.5 and the tone is 80. The TQIR is Excellent to Very Good. The gemstone is really clean at LI2-MI1. The cutting and finish grades are really high for a gemstone from Burma. The stone is slightly deep at 86% but the brilliancy is a high 80%. A killer collector gem already mounted in platinum jewelry and over 4 carats of diamonds.
