2.45 Unheated Burma Pink Sapphire

Description
A "bubble gum" or "electric" pink unheated Burma pink sapphire. The gem is 65% pink and 25% red or the stone is 90% reddish pink. It has received the coveted 3.5 color grade by the AGL. The stone is a nice light 55 tone. The clarity is MI1-MI2 and most of the inclusions are rutile silk, which prove Burma and no heat. The stone has good cutting and good finish. The gem has an ultra high 80-90% brilliancy, almost like a diamond. These stones are hard to acquire because many other countries buy/sell these colors as Burma ruby. A serious gemstone for a portfolio or to mount in an upscale jewelry piece.
