DescriptionAn important "electric" yellow Malawi tourmaline back for liquidation from collector. One of the first ever mined around 2001. The gem is a top orangy yellow 3 color with 45 tone (Light to Medium). It is ultra-clean at LI1 clarity. High 80% brilliancy, plus high cutting and finish grades. This gem has no negative colors in the Color Scan. One of a few stones to receive an Excellent (1.5) TQIR. Looks like a fancy vivid yellow diamond at a fraction of the price. Considerably rarer than yellow sapphire. A super rare collectible or perfect for jewelry.

Please note when viewing high quality gemstones on the net there are certain limitations: Most monitors display images at varying dots per inch (dpi) and are not color-corrected. GIF and JPEG formats compromise quality. Internet browsers can only "see" 216 of 256 colors. Since every system, browser, and monitor is different, we don't know if what you and we see are the same.
