A hot pink unheated "Classic" Mogok Burma with light tone. Color/Scan Reference: 296 represents the transition point between ruby and pink sapphire. Due to the rutile in the gem, the stone has a sleepy look so many collectors desire. We could heat the stone and make it more lively, by that seems counter-productive. The gemstone has typical Mogok Burmese proportions and finish. Good brilliancy and the depth of 65% makes the stone looks larger than it's 1.50 size. An old 20 year parcel from a Burma collector. No heat. Each gem is approximately 1 and 1/2 carats. Bright, vivid colors in round and oval shapes.
