Morganite is also known as "Pink Beryl." This is due to the fact it belongs to the same family as emerald. We assume the stone is Brazilian and heated at low heat. However the untreated material is known for its salmon-orange color. However, we never submitted the stone to AGL. This stone has a real vivid color, unlike many light Morganites. It's flawless and has good proportions and finish. An interesting gem to collect or mount in jewelry.
