1.02 "Classic" Mogok Unheated Burma Ruby

Description
A vivid red "Classic" Mogok back to the marketplace for liquidation. Also known as stoplight red or pigeon blood red by the trade. This is signified by the 2.5 color grade and the fact the gemstone is 70% red. You can trust the AGL report-this is pigeon blood red, unlike so many grading reports that state pigeon blood without any standards. The stone is a perfect 75 tone and never blacks-out and looks vivid red in all lights. The clarity is MI1-MI2 which is hard to see because the stone is so saturated. The stone has typical Burmese cutting. The stone has a super high 80-90% brilliancy. The stone has a Total Quality Integration Rating (TQIR) of Excellent to Very Good-a top rating from Cap Beesley. These factors make this stone unbelievably rare. A serious gemstone for any portfolio or to mount in an upscale jewelry piece. This rock is priced way under the market because the original collector wants to sell. This stone has never been mounted but has sat in vaults for over two decades.
